Description
This optical lens features an effective focal length (EFL) of 2.93mm and a large F2.8 aperture, ensuring high light intake and excellent image brightness even in low-light environments, while also delivering a relatively shallow depth of field to emphasize the subject.
With an ultra-wide 116° horizontal field of view (HFOV), it captures expansive scenes, making it ideal for applications requiring broad coverage or capturing more contextual information in confined spaces.
The lens demonstrates well-controlled distortion: a value of -14.7% indicates barrel distortion (inward curvature at the edges), which is common in ultra-wide-angle lenses and can typically be corrected via software algorithms.
Its compact design, with a total length (TTL) of just 12.25mm, facilitates device miniaturization. Additionally, it offers both M11 and M12 threaded interfaces for flexible installation and enhanced compatibility.
Perfectly compatible with the SONY IMX586 and other 1/2" sensors.
Application
Security and Surveillance: The ultra-wide field of view (FOV) is particularly suitable for large-area monitoring scenarios such as public squares and warehouses
Automotive Electronics: Applications like automotive surround-view systems and blind spot monitoring benefit from the broad perspective, capturing extensive surrounding environmental information
Industrial Inspection: Useful for appearance inspection, positioning, and counting under large-field conditions
Intelligent Recognition: Applicable to AIoT fields such as facial recognition and behavior analysis
Drones and Robotics: With compact dimensions and wide angles, they are ideal for obstacle avoidance navigation and visual perception tasks
